We are at the beginning of an incredibly busy season at the First Baptist Church of Augusta. I look at my calendar every morning and see events and meetings that run every day of the week. I often remind myself that life in ministry is a marathon and not a sprint, but there are times when it sure does seem like we are running pretty fast. If I am not careful, I can forget that these times are not only busy, they are also filled with joy and friendship. I hope that you can take a few moments of every day and think deeply about all the good things that are happening at our church, and also in your life.
I want to take the rest of my letter to remind you of some of the important dates coming up in our church. Details on these events can be found on our website at www.fbcaugusta.org.
