Preschool & Children Guests
All visitors will be assisted with checking-in at one of the security check-in kiosks located in the hallway. Parents will provide all important information including names, birthdates, addresses, emergency contact cell phone numbers, allergies, or special instructions for their children. The kiosk will print a security tag for each child, his or her bag and a matching security ID number for the parents to present at pick-up. The hostess will then guide families to the appropriate room based on the child’s birth date. Specific instructions can be provided on the form at each classroom door as needed. Please notify teachers each week of any allergies or critical special instructions.
All of our nursery workers, Worship Care volunteers, and teachers have been screened, background checked and trained in our child protection and safety policies. All workers and volunteers will strive to follow all instructions parents leave regarding feedings and naps. Each infant and baby has his or her own crib space with clean linens each week and all toys and equipment are sanitized after each use. Parents are encouraged to label everything in their child’s bag and bring a drink, snack, diapers and change of clothes for each child ages two and under.
Be aware that children may cry momentarily at the point of drop-off, but rarely do they ever continue to cry after parents have left. If your child is hurt, continues to be upset or needs you during the service, we will call or text the emergency number left at the kiosk.
