Sunday School – Sundays at 9:40 am

Preschoolers and Children are in stage and grade-divided small groups during Sunday School. From the youngest age, they are taught about God’s love for them and others. As preschoolers grow, they learn foundational Bible stories through story, song, games, home living, puzzles, blocks, nature, art and books. Children experience God through interactive hands-on learning in The Upper Room. Committed teachers provide a warm and friendly place for children to develop trust and faith.

Extended Session Care is provided during the 8:30 and 11:00 Worship Services for children from birth to Pre-K. Extended Session affords parents an opportunity to participate in worship with the confidence that their children are also being well cared for and engaged in age-appropriate activities in the Preschool Building. Children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade participate in Intergenerational Worship with their families. Worship Bags and Children’s Bulletins are provided to help children engage with God in worship.

Children’s Choirs – Wednesdays 6:00 – 6:45 pm Children’s Choirs teach children musicality and rhythm through singing, playing instruments and games. Children are divided into age grouped choirs from 3 years to 5th grade to learn to praise, to serve, to share, to memorize God’s word, to pray and to sing.

Wednesday Missions – Ages 3 – 5th grade 6:45 – 7:30pm -Children will gain a broad understanding of where God is at work in the world and how we are called to be involved in missions in our everyday lives as followers of Christ.  Children will be exposed to ideas and concepts that will help them understand problems and possible solutions to challenges outside of their personal experiences. They will learn about new cultures, and new ideas and experiences through fun and creative activities.

Additional Opportunities

  • Mid-Week Life Together Small Groups – Monthly groups share life together through meals, devotions and fellowship in homes meeting throughout the area. Parents and kids welcome.
  • Family Fellowships and Special Events – Play days, fun events, missions and time to build relationships with parents and kids of the same age and stage of life.
  • Parenting Education and Seminars – Because nobody has it completely figured out, shared experience and topical studies can encourage all parents in the journey.

Great Expectations

During pregnancy or adoption, families are encouraged to let our Great Expectations Ministry know of their anticipated family expansion so that we can prayerfully support your family on the journey.

When a new child is welcomed into a family, a rose is placed in our worship services to celebrate the birth or adoption. Infants are welcome in our nursery at six weeks of age. Nursery caregivers will follow directions of parents to maintain feeding and sleeping patterns as much as possible. A private nursing room is available for nursing mothers in the Preschool Building.

Parental Dedication services are scheduled throughout the year for the purpose of acknowledging our children as gifts from God entrusted to our care and committing to raise them in a home where Christ’s love is the foundation.
