We realize our campus is large, so we want to do everything we can to make your visit with us go smoothly.

As you enter our campus on a Sunday morning, the ideal spot to park is to the right of the main sanctuary. You will see signs directing you to guest parking. If you are arriving for our contemporary worship at 8:30AM, You will want to drive to the back of the campus and park by the Mission Activities Building. Parking lot greeters are here to assist you! All you have to do is flash your headlights and a greeter will guide you where to park and escort you to the proper building.

Also, you are invited to join us for Sunday lunch—held on the 3rd Sunday of the month and served at 11AM and 12 noon. As a First Time guest you are invited to lunch ‘on the house’!

FAQ

Bible Study, 9:40AM, located throughout the campus

Traditional Worship Service, 11:00AM in the Sanctuary

Where do I park?

As you enter our campus for our contemporary (REACH) worship at 8:30AM, park outside the Missions Activities Building. The doors to the parking lot will be staffed with a greeter as you enter. If you are arriving for Bible study (9:40AM) or our traditional worship (11AM), look for the guest parking spaces located just outside the entrance to our church Welcome Center. Greeters will be stationed at our Welcome Center to answer questions and get you where you need to go. This location also allows quick access to our preschool and children’s ministry areas.

Where do I take my children?

Upon arriving to our campus, enter the Welcome Center or come directly to the Preschool Building. A hostess or our Nursery Coordinator is there to assist guests each week.

All guest will be assisted with checking-in at one of the security check-in kiosks located in the hallway. Parents will provide all important information including names, birthdates, addresses, emergency contact cell phone numbers, allergies, or special instructions for their children. The kiosk will print a security tag for each child, his or her bag and a matching security ID number for the parents to present at pick-up. The hostess will then guide families to the appropriate room based on the child’s birth date. Specific instructions can be provided on the form at each classroom door as needed. Please notify teachers each week of any allergies or critical special instructions.

What do I wear?

We hope you feel comfortable at FBC Augusta, knowing that you will see a variety of styles of dress. Our members who attend our contemporary worship tend to dress more casual—which includes jeans. And our members who attend our traditional worship tend to dress more formal—which includes coat and tie for the men, and dresses for the women. However, regardless of the service you attend, you will see the entire range of attire.

Do you have an orientation class?

Yes. As you visit with us and provide contact information, we will follow up with dates for our 4-week orientation class, called “Finding Your Place.”

How do I join your church?

We look forward to celebrating with you as you join our church—especially if that includes a profession of faith in Christ! At the conclusion of each worship service, we offer opportunity to unite with our congregation through a profession of faith, a statement of faith, or transfer of membership from another congregation. We will be delighted to help you navigate all this—we simply encourage you to take that step and indicate your desire to join with us. Regardless of how you come to us, welcome to our fellowship of believers!
