All parents with babies born in 2008 are invited to celebrate the year’s joy. We’ll share first year memories and enjoy fellowship over brunch - Sunday, December 14 in the Game Room from 9:40-10:40 am. RSVP to the Preschool and Children’s Ministry Office by December 8.

The Sanctuary will be open24 hours for prayers to be lifted up. Security will be provided. We are asking volunteers to commit to pray in 30 minute increments.
Prayer guides will be available in the Sanctuary during the vigil. FBC started as the praying society of Augusta and continues to be a praying community that calls upon the name of the Lord.
Sign up sheets will be available in Sunday School departments, Sunday and Wednesday worship services. You may also sign up by emailing Wanda Pinaula in the church office at wpinaula@fbcaugusta.org or by completing the section below and turning it in during the offering this Sunday.
Join us as we pray for our church, our country, and the new year.
Sunday November 30 at 12:00 in the Game Room - Celebrate the start of advent as family members work together to create a fresh advent wreath, play some Christmas games, enjoy a pizza lunch and leave with ideas for making meaningful moments for your family this advent season. Reservations are required. Cost is $20 per family and includes lunch, wreath supplies and an advent book.
November 12 from 5:00-9:00 PM - Parents enjoy a night out, get an early start on Christmas shopping or just drop off the kids and take advantage of the free child care. It will be a fun night for the kids too! Be sure to bring a bag supper or eat ahead of time. Ages 0-4 in the Perschool Building. Ages K-5th grade in the Game Room. Reservations required by calling the Preschool and Children’s Ministry Office at 706-731-5366.

All 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders are encouraged to be a part of this year’s Fall Retreat to Camp Daniel Marshall September 26-28. Cost is $40 and sign ups are taking place now. We’ll have Bible study, games, worship, a bonfire, small groups and lots of time for fun with friends!
Upper Room Open House Sunday, September 7, 12-12:30 PM. With the completion of the elevator in the Children’s Building, we want to officially invite anyone who hasn’t yet had a chance to see the Upper Room to do so. It is a beautiful Space where our children love to learn, and we want to host an “Open House,” complete with tour guides, to tell you about the activities and learning that take place in the Upper Room each week.
