Title: Bread of Life Luncheon

Description: The buffet line opens at 11:45 and cost is $6. Mrs. Marcia Buck is guest speaker. Her topic will be Flower Power: Gardening with God. Call 733-2236 or email ladiesatfirst@fbcaugusta.org to make reservations for lunch and/or child care. Reservation deadline is Monday, September 15.

Description: All kids ages 3 - 5th grade are encouraged to ride laps for missions. Sign up in the Preschool Children’s Ministry Office to ride and for the family celebration lunch. Begin collecting pledges now!

All 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders are encouraged to be a part of this year’s Fall Retreat to Camp Daniel Marshall September 26-28. Cost is $40 and sign ups are taking place now. We’ll have Bible study, games, worship, a bonfire, small groups and lots of time for fun with friends!

Men’s Fraternity Series, Fall 2008. The Band of Brothers will start with “The Quest for Authentic Manhood” by Robert Lewis. This 24-week study begins Tuesday, September 9 at 6 AM in the Game Room/Activities Building OR Wednesday, September 10 at 6 PM in the Adult Building, Room 203 D & E, and both will run for twelve weeks. Following a break through Thanksgiving and Christmas, we will pick up for the remaining twelve weeks January 13 through March 31, 2009. Cost of workbook is $10.
